ZEISS EXPERIENCE DIGITAL REFRACTION

Eye testing has remained virtually unchanged for over 100 years until the launch of the Zeiss Experience with i.Scription.

Your eyes are as unique as you are and have an individual “fingerprint”.  The Zeiss i.Profiler reads this “fingerprint” to produce, arguably the most individualized lens in the world.

We need to know, not only what your new spectacles have to achieve, but also when and where. We will discuss your regular day to day schedule, job and activities as well as any specific visual problems. The more we know, the better we can assist you in acquiring your customised precision lenses.

STEP 1:

WAVEFRONT ABERROMETRY & ATLAS

CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHY

i.Profiler® Plus

Pupils enlarge in low light situations, therefore, peripheral aberrations of the eye can lead to refractive shifts that make a conventional prescription no longer clear. The i.Profiler® Plus allows for an optimized prescription to provide better day and night vision, eliminating large amounts of glare and halos.  This improvement allows you to enjoy excellent contrast and depth of field; you will simply see more clearly.

STEP 2:

SUBJECTIVE REFRACTION AND I.SCRIPTION

VISUPHOR & VISUSCREEN

With your assistance, we will determine the best possible prescription for your ZEISS digital lenses.  i.Scription technology
involves an innovative, patented algorithm which combines the subjective refraction values with the i.Profiler Plus ocular wavefront aberrometry data to calculate an individualized prescription to 1/100th of a diopter – incorporated in a ZEISS lens with i.Scription technology.

STEP 3:

CUSTOMIZED DIGITAL LENS AND FRAME FITTING

i.Terminal

Lens fitting plays a key role in maximizing visual comfort, as fitting errors can cause up to a 40% loss in lens performance. i.Terminal is the key in fixing any fitting problems. Frame clips are placed on your frame and measurements are taken directly on your face. This allows the position of the frame/lenses to be calculated to the nearest 1\10 of a millimeter, ensuring that your new ZEISS lenses provide 100% performance.
