In response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to take this opportunity to outline the steps we are taking at Valley Primary Eye Care to keep our patients, staff, families and community safe and healthy.
Prior to this outbreak, our staff has always sanitized common surfaces, diagnostic instruments, and exam rooms between patients, and will continue this practice. Hand-sanitizing and hand-washing protocols have been, and will continue, to be in place.
Our staff has been instructed to monitor themselves for any flu-like symptoms and are not to report to our office if they are exhibiting any symptoms. We also are asking our patients if they are sick or have flu-like symptoms to kindly reschedule their appointment at this time.
To decrease the number of patients in our waiting room, starting on Monday, March 16th, we will be temporarily decreasing the number of daily appointments and spacing out patients as much as possible. Emergencies will still be continued to be seen.
Taking common precautions will further reduce your risk of exposure. We encourage you to visit the following websites for more information: www.health.pa.gov & www.CDC.gov
